Groin Pain

I have not been diagnosed with Fibro, but have pains all over my body from my head to my toes. The question I want to ask is does Fibro give you groin pain. I have always thought it was my IBS (which I have had for 35 years) but I am now wondering if it might actually be Fibro that is causing the groin pain!?

It's really easy to blame the dreaded fibro for all pains. I blamed fibro for my shoulder pain (turned out to be calcific tendonitis) and my groin pain which turned out to be osteoarthritis in hip joints. Please don't assume it's fibro, always best to get the GPs opinion just in case you are delaying worthwhile treatment.

Hi, I've just seen this as I also have groin pain (left side) and was wondering if it was Fibro related! Or indeed, IBS! I've just been to the GP again today because it's so painful, it comes and goes. (I'm the same age as you, not that that means anything). Anyway, my GP has done some blood tests. I think she thinks it's bowel related, so we'll get that out of the way first. I wonder if you've had any luck?
