Hi all I have bad issues with my scalp itching, I scratch during the night.. it drives me crazy!! Flaring fibromyalgia getting worse… My sleep is so poor and the meds I’m on are not helping I have constipation a lot, I have DDD low back pain bi-lateral sciatica and other issues… does anyone else have similar ??
I just want to feel normal again 😕
Hi Shazza1968 , is your scalp dry?. I use to get this a lot, along with my skin, try a milder shampoo, sometimes baby shampoo can help, but may leave your hair unmanageable as so soft, I now use jojoba intense moisture conditioner and it seems to have solved the problem, it’s pretty cheap on Amazon for a large size. I feel for you with DDD, it’s painful.

I itch and get rashes alot its horrible some timrs i feel like i have ants all over me or im getting stung, its to do with our nerve fibers xx
Hi, I suffer really badly with my scalp and when it gets really bad I end up with sores at the base of my skull. This hot weather does not help as it seems to make it a 100 times worse. It usually starts on one side of my head around my ears and then spreads from there. My go has given me Betnovate scalp application and it works a treat. I apply it to my scalp all over put extra where it is worse parts are and then gently rub all over and this loosens the flakes and this takes away the awful itching. I find that them clears my scalp and it remain itch free for a good3-4 weeks. Not sure if this will help you but it may be worth a try 😊

I had terrible got itchy scalp issues especially in this damp humid weather but I use tresseme products and got myself their hair tonic you put through right at the scalp and I give it a rub into it at night and I have much less irritation and I can get to sleep easier I hope it all gets better for you,big hug
Thanks I’ll get the treseme tonic I use treseme normally.. so worth a go .. as for the other another issue more bisocodol tonight if no movement it will be the chemists tomorrow!! 😷

Bless your HEART! I have the same troubles…First of all, it’s the meds keeping you bound up, so do this……APPLESAUCE!! Before bed & in the morning! Itchy scalp?……before bed, give your scalp a good brushing with a NON HAIR BRISTLE Brush…… use a hard plastic, round…… also use a conditioner after shampooing …… rub it in liberally! Itchy skin……lotion with cocoa butter DAILY and/or Hydrocortisone cream! Also you may need to increase your water intake.
Pain meds not working……… give them a boost with Extra Strength Tylenol or at bedtime, use Tylenol PM for sleep! Good Luck Sweetie!💕🙏🏻🌟🎄
