They are my goto when I’m in the kitchen making dinner, the gym, or doing errands in town. It’s best to try them on to find the ones that work for you. Some of them don’t come with the cushion or support, feet and fibro, you have to have high standards when picking a shoe to get you through the day. I find the ones that have a deeper heel divot and cushion work for me even if it’s a harder mule with deep inset heel or a cloud like slip on (Cloudsteppers Mira Isle). I’m a flat foot with a sitting arch, narrow heels and a wide ball when standing…
Hi egm123. I went to local Hotters yesterday (big sale on) and they had a new state of the art fitting machine. If you used it they offered a reduction on the price of the already reduced shoes - so I agreed to have a go. It’s free anyway.
Very easy - you just had to stand on this platform. Anyway it showed a computerised mock up of your feet. I have one foot bigger than the other - one foot deeper than the other - and a regular shaped arch. And I’m half a size bigger than I thought (and have always bought).
Just a suggestion - if you can get to a Hotter with one of those machines - it might help you get the right fitting.

Skechers ArchFit are really good, wear them mostly for work & walk a lot 😊
Hi i have inserts made by nhs podiatrist (referred by my gp) i have found Asics trainers quite good as their own inserts come out and i can replace with my personalised ones, otherwise my feet wont fit in others ive tried. My sister uses hotter and finds them quite good too.
Walking boots.
Sketchers are good but can be expensive, Deichman do there own brand with memory foam soles which I find as good as sketchers but half the price. X
I buy Orthotic Plantar Fascia insoles from Superdrug, they are about £12, they have the arch support and a soft gel heel which I find helpful, hope this helps xx
I started buying inserts seperately too, You cna get them for about £10-15 - works out ok and gives good support in a variety of shoes.
Hoka One One. They are not pretty, but my feet NEVER hurt when I wear them. The only other shoes I can wear comfortably are Dansko clogs.
