I've been suffering with widespread pain for the last 1yr or so but I've had extreme tiredness well for as Long as I can remember... but now a simple day of grocery shopping added with school runs and house work is causing me to crash for a day or two. I'm only managing to get my kids in school 3 days out of 5 which is obvs not great and is getting me in trouble with the authorities...... I've had blood work done its all neg but now trying to get another appointmentwith the doc is proving difficult as we have to use this econsult system it keeps telling me I need to go to A&E!!!!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hi there, could you not ask to speak with the surgery nurse or even the surgery manager. Or maybe just go to the surgery door.
Its ridiculous you cant speak to anyone in the surgery. Goodness knows how many are been told to go to A&E no wonder the hostpitals are getting over powered.
Sadly this is happenning a lot and I have similar problems even getting someone to answer the phone. Totaly engaged for 5 hours.
If I was you I would either go to the surgery in person. Or call 111 and see what they advise maybe.

Hello, sorry to hear your struggling. My local GP surgery are making phone consultation appointments. Can you ask to speak to your doctor over the phone? Or write a letter to your doctor and hand it into the doctor's reception. make a list of your symptoms and any questions you wish to ask because I always forget what I want to ask! If your blood results are all negative, then it is important that you ask if you can be referred to a specialist, it is usually a rheumatologist who would diagnose fibromyalgia. It sounds like you are trying to do too much each day and that you need to pace yourself. Try to prioritise what it is essential, housework can always wait until another day when you are not so busy.
Are your children old enough to help out with some of the easy household tasks? As regards getting them to school, do you have any relatives, neighbours or friends who could maybe help out with some of the school runs? Or how about sharing the school runs with some of your children 's schoolfriends parents?
If you haven't already done so, then take a look at the fmauk.org website, there is lots of useful information.
Keep us posted with how you get on, and take care xx
My docs u have to go thru an econsult online then u have to wait 2 days for a doc to call if they call at all!!!!
My kids r 16,13,11,10,6 and 3.....
My eldest 2 always help me out in the house with cookin cleaning ect wen I've crashed and some times does some shopping for me. I do try to get it delivered but sometimes can't get the next day option.
And helping with school runs, well can sometimes be difficult as 11 and 10 r always fighting and the school is 2 buses away and I feel it's far too much responsibility to take 6 aswell, so U can see my struggle. 3 is not yet in school.
