Hi guys, I’m waiting for my RA consultant to get me seen by the spinal team. I am getting extremely painful stabs, almost feels like an electrical shocks, even when I am standing still.
Does anyone have these symptoms please and can tell me why they happen.
Love to you all 💖
Liz

Hi Liz. Just wanted to reply and acknowledge your pain. This sounds really nasty. I’ve not personally experienced this but I really hope they get to the bottom of it for you x
Hello Liz, warm welcome wishes to our group I have had fibro for 40 yrs and I can not recall ever having what you describe associated with my fibro. But I'm sure someone may have.

Hello Hope. That sounds really nasty. Hopefully you get an appointment soon.
I’ve had fibro for yonks but I can’t say I’ve had that particularly painful symptom. But - I feel I need to say this - not everything is fibro related.
I’ve had a dreadful couple of weeks - thought I was heading for a mega fibro flare up. Headache, aching limbs, exhaustion, cystitis (all the usual suspects). But soldiered on - as we all do.
Then last weekend had dreadful stomach pains and horrendous diarrhoea ( sorry if you are eating your lunch). Turns out it was a dreadful stomach bug.
I live in a block of flats and several other residents had the same illness. We don’t socialise much but all use the same entrance and lift. Who knows where it came from?
My point is - usually it’s fibro - but not always.
I get the stabbing pains. Through chest, rib area and my toes. Even electric shock type pain in my face. All very random for me though when it comes on and can go ages with out .
Hope you get some answers but for me it was just the joys of fibro .
