Low blood pressure

Hi does anyone else suffer with extreme low blood pressure ?

Today it was 90/48 and how do you cope , mines always low but drops frequently.

Have you checked your hydration?

Lightly pinch the skin on the top of your hand. If a ridge remains when you let go then you need to drink just water. Tea has caffeine which makes you pee more and get more dehydrated.

Also are you on a low salt/heart diet??

If not you could eat something salty like pickles cheese etc. that has a higher salt level and drink water too.

The salt helps to retain the water.

If taking diuretics then that’s not good to do. Best to call GP with blood pressure stats.

Here across the pond doctors don’t want the top reading lower than 100 and the bottom lower than 60.

Thank you honeybug , there’s no serious under lying conditions , I do have a slight heart murmur and lupus destroyed my thyroid gland which is being controlled , I drink water by the gallon, I cook with salt but don’t add it otherwise . I’ll up my salt intake and see if it helps .... thank you x👍🐝🪆

Sorry about all your conditions hun.

Autoimmune disease destroyed my thyroid and I have a murmur and prolapsed mitral valve too.

I think it would be wise to talk to your GP about your blood pressure. It’s not good for it to be so low.
