Dizziness and FM

Dizziness and brain fog are a major issue for me...I have to be very careful looking up, down, sideways..too fast and I lose balance, and fall. Turning too fast also leads to falling. Even watching TV can make me dizzy. I have had (diagnosis) FM for 6 years...and have had dizziness, exhaustion, pain,IBS, brain fog,etc etc prior to any drugs. I now take Pregabalin...still have dizziness and exhaustion, try to stand, and fall over...worse in flare up...cannot turn head without nearly passing out😣🤯, but pain is reduced. So, I do believe that dizziness, balance problems, is FM related. Clearly ,not everyone has all the 240 possible FM symptoms...though I have a lot🤬😱. One simply has to manage self...live slowly and very carefully...pace and try to enjoy your new 'normal'. Good luck to all🤞

suspect from how you have written this post that you may have wanted to reply to the other ongoing post here: healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

Yes you are right , take it slower, pace yourself , enjoy the good bits of our fibro days, Spring is around the corner , the Sun came out today in Suffolk , the days are getting lighter , cannot wait to sit on my chair outside feel the warmth of the Sun on my face. Switch off for a few minutes to all the Fibro symptoms and hoping with all the vaccines being rolled out the Covid will be under control, Good luck to you too😀and our near normal will be alittle more normal if you get what I mean , take care .

Definitely worth trying the brandt daroff exercises 5 times a day for a week or so.... I also swear by the anti seasick wristbands for dizziness.Good luck!

I went through a phase of a year and 1/2 where I fell at least once a week. I've hit my head and damaged my shoulders and the rest of my body. I finally (after a year) got an MRI and the doctor said I have small vessel disease which leads to vascular dementia. Maybe so but I've had Fibromyalgia for years and years. I'm better now and taking exercise and balance instruction. Changed my diet a bit and I'm better. Not falling but it hasn't helped the dizziness, pains, insomnia et c. It is Fibro and I am going to fight it, no matter what they say.
