Hi, its also my first time writing on here too I've had a diagnosis of fibro 18 months ago. I have pain everywhere tbh, my feet hurt and can be numb and have pins and needles just like everywhere else. 😘. My pain is centred in my neck, they have said I have widespread chronic centralised sensitisation, a bit of a mouthfull. I find some temporary relief with yoga but I have to be careful as nerve pain doesn't respond well to exercise. Take care 🙂 ❤, anyone like me out there?
Hi and a warm welcome to our community. Here you will find information support friendship and laughter too. You can find general information on fibromyalgia at our main website fmauk.org
I get pain all over, but get burning pain that affects my feet on a daily basis
Yes; It is fairly common. Stopped me wearing heels some years ago. Try a Memory Foam insole; it may help.
Hi sorry to hear you fibromyalgia all I can say is read up as much as you can and I hope that your doctor is knowledge on the condition. I have had fibromyalgia for 20 odd years and your get pains everywhere so don't be surprised where u hurt, be kind to yourself and pace yourself, I have just started on turmeric capsules and they are helping abit, best of luck, stay safe! X
Yes most definitely and they burn sometimes.
healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., hello and welcome, we do seem to get various areas of our fibro bodies that have pain, I certaintly wear the most comfy shoes I can find , makes so much difference, and like someone has said alittle extra memory foam in shoe is helpful. Good soak in some Epsom’s salts is nice, I always keep my feet creamed every day as not wanting any cracked heals to add to any discomfort, foot cream or E45 . I’ve posted a link above should you want to lock your posts ,that way only our community can see and not o0en to any other site engines on the internet , great forum to have a read , look forward to seeing you post again. Xx
I had awful pain in one foot which felt like I was walking on a bed of nails. Everything others have recommended helped a little. Epsom salts, flat, comfortable shoes with good insoles, flexing foot as much as possible when sat watching TV . After about 6 months the pain disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared. I always find fibro pain moves around the body with no logic. Wish I hadn't got rid of all the high heeled shoes !! 😀
