Newly diagnosed & Struggling

Hi

Just been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis in most joints. I struggle with pain most days and I am worried what my future holds.

Can anyone recommend any books etc. on Fibromyalgia?

Help really appreciated.

Wouldn't worry too much about books; ask us! We are all sufferers and we are a supportive group, also there is also a lot of information here on the site.

Have a look around, ask questions, Join in the discussions, just remember that none of us are Doctors, although there are several retired nurses here, so any advice we give is unofficial.

I suggest you Look up The Spoon Theory online, its a good way to explain to others how you are feeling , and why you may suddenly have to call off an activity. True friends will understand.
