Follow up!

Hi everyone! Just an update really......I posted a few months ago about my depression coming back. My original GP appointment in March was cancelled due to covid and I just kept putting it off thinking I didn’t want to bother the GP surgery during all of this. I’ve just had a week off, and decided to get it sorted. My surgery are currently getting patients to complete and online form and someone will call you back. I did mine Monday night and asked for my usual GP to contact me. The next morning they called me, unfortunately my usual GP was having a week off too, but another really lovely one talked through everything with me (I only wanted my usual GP as we’d talked about it before and he knows me well). We had a long chat and decided that citalopram would be right for me as it won’t interact with my gabapentin, going to chat to him in a few weeks and hopefully increase the dose. Had some blood tests too yesterday just to check levels (vein blew straight after and have a huuuuuuge bruise!!). fingers crossed in 6 weeks I’ll start feeling a bit better
