Dilemma, I am a Waspi woman who lost around £40k from my pension, I am now coming up to 66 and have to claim it but it’s around £30 less a week than I get now, it’s over the limit for pension credits though, so I don’t know what to do, any suggestions x

Hi there, are you sure you have posted on the correct forum. This is a support group for Fibromyalgia. I think when it comes to big decisions about your finances only you can decide what's going to be the most benificial to you. I wish you luck with what ever you decide x

Without knowing what you get now and which benefits the money comes from, it is impossible to advise you. You had best see a benefits adviser at your local Citizens Advice Bureau. Take details of what you get now and what your State Pension will be with you. They can advise you, based on the detailed information.
