โ€ข15 Replies

Another day has dawned and lovely to hear the birds chirping way but ....been awake nearly all night and itโ€™s like โ€œshut up a bit ,canโ€™t youโ€. Apart from pain keeping me awake, my brain doesnโ€™t let me sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด either. Too many thoughts on this and that. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”So just wanted to ask if anyone has any tips on how to get comfortable at night and get some sleep? Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š Love and hugs ๐Ÿค— to all of you lovely people. Xxxxxxx๐Ÿ˜š๐Ÿ˜š

Hi

I'm like you, one hour or less sleep per night due to pain. Long hot water bottle, electric blanket help a little. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

Hi Lynne I must get one of those long bottles. Where do you buy them? Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š Love ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—xxxx

Thanks Lynne. I had an on/off night again. I had to go to bed at half 7 as was in pain and felt tired. Did you have a good night? I hope so. Thanks again for your help. Love Lynn xxxx ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿค—

The dreaded sleeplessness ๐Ÿ˜ก I actually have earphones in all night. I listen to audiobooks - some stories, some meditations, some sleep learning courses. I tend to get about 4 hours sleep altogether, which is a lot better than some of you but still feels lacking! When Iโ€™ve had a run of really bad nights, I do reach for the Night Nurse. Itโ€™s not ideal, but it works! Good luck xx

Excellent ideas thanks as I find just lying about and all the moving about with jumping legs a long night. Keep the mind focused on something else I guess will help pass the time. Thanks again and hope you are doing ok. Xxxx

Youโ€™re welcome! I forgot to say I also keep a thermos flask of either chamomile tea or low calorie hot chocolate (Iโ€™m sure you know the brands) by the bed. This means I can have a warm drink anytime in the night without having to get up. Sometimes, this brings a little bit of comfort xxxx

Thanks again for your help. You are a star ๐ŸŒŸ. Xxx

For the 'jumping legs' try magnesium spray, personally I couldn't cope without it for the muscle cramps & restless legs.

They do a lavender one too which you might find helpful for sleep.

I just buy mine from the high street H&B & when it's on offer I stock up.

Hope it helps.
