I'm still awaiting result if mandatory r .. due to fibromyalgia but today I had to go to a n e due to swollen Arm and horrendous pain ... had to have blood test to rule out blood clot so when doc shouted me back in he said good news is you don't have blood clot all levels are normal but the bad news is you have a frozen shoulder ... I have to go back to my docs to ask to be referred to physio and then for injections .... Do I phone mr up to tell them as I'm doing less for myself even putting coat on or putting hair up I can't do .... T.I.A

As your MR is concerned with the day of your f2f, it shouldn't make any difference, also because a frozen shoulder should only take up to six weeks, it shouldn't affect a claim for PIP, but will for ESA. You don't say what you are claiming for, but either way, it won't harm your case to mention it, and ask them if they want you to wait for the MR and then submit a New claim?

Frozen shoulders can be a real problem. It very much depends on any underlying problems. Doctors will tell you six weeks recovery which in my case was nonsense. I had physio to no affect. I had three injections again no relief. Eventually my GP sent me for an ultrasound scan which found severe osteoarthritis, bursitis and tendinitis. However by then I had muscle atrophy around my shoulder and limited movement. That was ten years ago. Technically only evidence presented at the time of the f2f can be used but a phone call will not hurt to keep them informed. I would ask your GP about the reasons behind your frozen shoulder and would ask for further tests.

Get an MRI scan of the shoulder. You can get frozen shoulder from a tendon tear. You can get a frozen shoulder from build up of fluid in the tendon sheath. To make a decision on effective treatment you need to know what the cause of the frozen shoulder is.
