Just being diagnosed with Fibro!

Hi, have been in pain for many years and have osteoarthritis and have just been told I have Fibromyalgia after fighting with doctors over 5 + years!

After asking for a second opinion, a doctor eventually started to listen and now have it in writing!!! I have good days and bad days and at night get very bad back and rib spasm, also I can't stand for long and pain starts

I lost my sister in 2008 and my pain started, and progressively has got worse, now I know what's causing my pain, now need to find ways to still live my life and make changes!

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

I am sorry to hear about your sister. I use a v neck pillow in bed. It helps me a lot and couldn't be without it now.

hello! I use a long type pillow in bed too so my knees dont touch ,,,lol when I cant touch my own body together...ughh. anyway I also take kratom, and fibro response and a topical cream called topocrin for fibro and nerve pain which I get from amazon I get some temp. relief with all these things. I also have some DD in my low back/neck my back gets excutiating somtimes and those hot patches so offer some temp. relief as well. Im seeing my dr. and trying to get prescribed somthing for the actual pain . I read an article that tramadol might be helpful in fibro. IDK if she will though. all she wants to prescribe is lyrica or cymbalta :/ I hope you get some relief soon.
