Hi

Welcome to this wonderful forum. Everyone's brilliant!! I'm sorry I can't help you much but would advise if you can to rest when your body tells you to. I get either an hour or nothing each night which as you know can leave you exhausted plus like many others have more conditions to contend with. Please take care Lynne

I dont know if this helps just with regards to energy levels generally, as we are all different, but it helps me to imagine I am given one gas canister of energy a week and I need to make that last. So if I push myself too much and use it all up too soon, I can expect to feel absolutely drained and exhausted for the rest of the week. But if I rest up, take things easier, it may mean I have a bit more energy left at the end of the week. I base it on a week basis, as I travel in my job so I know I need to manage it with enough rest time. We are all different though, I know others on here have it far harder and cant work at all. Regardless, we all have to learn to pace ourselves, especially if not sleeping.

Hi, we all have sleep issues with fibro to some extent I think. All I can advise is to rest when you need to, trying to push yourself will just leave you unable to do anything. Chronic fatigue is a real problem and unfortunately not something that can be easily treated. Good luck. Xx

healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., morning it can be a shock like you say taking everything in and digest, you will read a lot of posts here with peoples experiences of how they deal with Fibro on a daily basis, tiredness can be a big problem, do you work ?? If you can pace yourself during your day as much as you can will be beneficial to your body, I haven’t been able to do this as much as helped out with my grandchildren part of this week, but today there’s no fuel in the tank as I say and rest is the order of the day, Sunday’s I always find switch off time and shut my mind off to what might be happening on Monday. I have put a link above if you would like to lock your posts as only our community can see and not open to any other site engines on the internet. I hope you you find the forum a good place to have a chat with members as I have found this very helpful .
