I think @Dizzytwo means chat messages on this site not email notifications from here. You should be able to click chat in between My Hub and the notification bell above :)

Weirdly enough, yup. It’s a major pain in my backside. I don’t know if you’re on any meds but I’m on pregabalin which affects my eyesight. x

I have to say medication is not the problem with my eyes I don't take it. But it would be interesting to hear how many feel their medication is effecting their eyes,as apose to it been their fibro. Xx

Yeah I definitely notice the decline in my eyesight as the evening goes on. I know it’s the pregabalin but now I’m saying that, it could also be other meds too. Because the horrible c**p has a lot to answer for. Especially my huge swollen belly! “Unexplained Weight Gain” on the leaflet. I’ve read my fair amount of leaflets and they all say “Possible Weight Gain”. So that was a new one on me. And I gained weight so fast and it was definitely unexplained because I hadn’t changed the way I ate etc. B***dy meds 😤 xx

I am suffering at the be moment with neuralgia which I think is made worse by the fibro I do get some blurred vision. I don't take any meds for the fibro as I am on them for a heart problem x

Hi, yes I suffer with pain in the muscles around my eyes. They hurt when I move them too when the fibro is bad.

I've been to the eye hospital several times and they agreed there that the pain was fibro related . I use a warm compress and this does help slightly and is soothing too . Also gentle massage around the temples helps me. Hope you get some relief soon X

Thanks for posting this. Yes sadly I do too. If my symptoms get worse from doing too much or just for the hell of it yes both my eyesight suffer and feel so tired I have to just rest and close my eyes (can’t even stand to look at my phone or TV when like this) also my voice seems strained too as so weak and tired. It’s a very odd sickness and doctors need to study us more and find out why this all happens and not push the issue under the carpet like they do!

Kind Regards

Chris

My optician was having none of it when I went back two months after getting a pair of varifocals (I'd had them twice before, so was well used to them), saying it wasn't fibro, or the meds (which I've been on for my last two eye exams and glasses), but here's a new prescription, and I can pay for this pair as well as the two month old pair.

Definitely, since having cataracts done, I find a Flare will mean I need my classes to read the computer screen.

Yes mine does eyes get tired much quicker and go quite blurred. As soon as the flare is over they go back to normal.x

What has really helped me is the optrex spray over the eyes and the overnight gel drops. They’ve definitely helped me x
