Assessment tomorrow
Good luck, mine is next week. Hope it goes well for you.
Don't attend your assessment alone - whether you are going to a centre or having your assessment at home, make sure you have someone with you.
They will most likely ask you the same questions only in a different way, so take your time giving your answers and make sure your answers are the same as you wrote on your form.
Don't think you have to wear your very best clothes - it will go against you if you do. No make up, and don't have your hair sitting to perfection either. And don't maintain eye contact as that will also go against you.
Good luck x
They just want a repeat of what you said on your forms. Tell them how you are on your worst day. I took notes with me and said I was frightened of forgetting everything because my memory and brain didn't function well. They wrote "she was dressed well and found her way here with no problems.' So up to you what you do about that, let them know how difficult it was to get there. If you can't do a movement without pain or difficulty Don't do it and tell them why.If you get turned down for ESA ask for a record of what the person wrote down, you probably got turned down because they wrote different answers down. You can take someone with You, to help you get there assist you walking and listen to what you actually say. You may have to ask to bring someone? You can take a recording to prove what you said too. Hope all goes well.
Every day is a bad day there are no good ones
