I have been on 200mg sertraline and 40mg amytripaline and a bunch of other pills but seen other doctor who put me down to 10mg amytripaline

Does it sound right or should I still be on 40mg always in pain and just got use to the 40mg

Hello Kenny, both of those drugs are predominantly for depressions BUT they are know to help with pain and sleep. Amitrip reduced because the other are advised to increase gradually, amitrip of taken after evening meal (provided you are not going to drive) will help you sleep, speak to your pharmacist for guidance on taking them both at the right time. Do you have any conventional pain relievers like codeine, co cocadmol??
