Research studie

Hi has anyone done the research studie for i-wotch about using opioid drugs from there Dr. They seem to want people to stop taken medication with opoids strong morphine like painkillers. I have just been invited to do a 12 month study and was wondering if anyone had done one and managed to stop the medication. Hoping yous are having a good day x

Info says people picked at random and put into 2 groups to see which support or therapy given best helps patients reduce their pain and therefore reduce Opioid use. GPs have been asked to look at reducing Opioid and high risk medications where possible and it looks like his research is looking at ways to make this possible. Many members here say they have used CBD oil to reduce pain and medication, so in my personal opinion research on this would be better rather than this study! Are you going to take part as it would be interesting to see if their interventions help your pain experience and help reduce Opioid use?

I am thinking about it Mdaisy it is a 12 month trial. I don't no anything about the cbd oil but I think I might read up on it as I have seen that a lot of people on the site use it. Thank you so much for your response and the helpful information x

If you do the trial with them they won't want you to use CBD oil as it will make the research invalid as they want to quantify if the therapies they offer help reduce opioid use. Best of luck whatever you decide but I wish they'd do research in the area of CBD oil moving forward
