Hi there nice to meet you Oscarlola :) I think you need to listen to your body on this one. Only you will know what your able to do in the morning time. Maybe look for something with afternoon hours if that would be more suitable for you.

I also can not cope with mornings my body just does not work. So for me I know never to make appointments etc before midday. Only you will know if your going to be up to the challenge. Only you knows your body. What ever you decide I wish you luck.

May I just give you the heads up that you may want to lock your posts :)

Thankyou xx

Get up extra early so you can take your time in the mornings and start your day off relaxed and stress free, that's my only advice, but, good for you, have you expressed both your excitement and worries to your boss?it could help you.when I'm going somewhere I make sure I have hour&45mins from getting up taking my pain relief ,breakfast, then dressed,I've learnt never to rush on mornings it starts my day off bad and ends it worse.

Hi there and welcome, for some of us early morning starts are usually harder to get going, I can understand financially you need to find work only you know your own body , but 5 days a week with early start might just add to your exhaustion , do all the shifts have early starts ?? It is positive you are wanting to find work , being with and also meeting people on a daily basis is always a plus. Good luck hope you find something suitable let us know how you get on x

Yes that's what I was thinking it wouldn't be so bad if it was only one or 2 but 5 I mean I done shopping with my husband yesterday and it's killed me today I haunt moved to do anything I've been exausted , so I just don't think I could do 5 days 2 would probably be ok xx

A few years ago I got a job working 8am till 1pm five days a week. As much as I wanted to work and enjoyed being with other people it was a nightmare and I had to leave after a couple of months. I then got a job as a travel agent. I explained my condition and the manager agreed that I work 3 days a week and finished at 4pm. I was so happy in the job. I was sat down but could walk round the office, ideal. She then left and we got a young male manager who wanted me to work 9am til 6pm five days a week and expected me to be able to carry large piles of brochures like the young lad I worked with. He was 20 and I was 50. So unfortunately I had to leave a job I really enjoyed. I know that I couldn't expect to have major allowances made for me but when I took the job it was on the understanding that I needed to work shorter days.

That's so sad that you had to leave the job you loved xx this is a sitting down job that I'm applying for as a passenger assistant , it just means going out twice a day 5 days a week I'm just worried as it's dealing with children and adults with additional needs xx
