Im lucky if I can walk 18 metres without sitting down so I’m going to go to court and fight it I think without my adapted car which they have taken off me I’m housebound how is that going to help me I don’t know.

It is no wonder people give up x

Don’t give up Nikki70 This May be difficult for you , you don’t give on things like this the problem is that the government are making changes all the time on all different kind of things that affects our lives , for instant on 25 of May some medication that you may get with out cost on prescription and is available over the counter people are going to be charged With PIP the government tried to change this so it was more difficult to get the points you need , this was thrown out of court So if you need to find out what the government are up Always to gov.co.uk Search for peoples information Or government changes for disabled people , In fact you can find out a lot on the gov site As so far as pip is concerned ring them make an appeal but remember you will need diagnoses and medical back up which I’m sure you have I hope this helps you

3 out of every 4 PIP Appeals are successful, so don't be put off from appealing, if you think you have a good case.

Have you requested a copy of the Disability Assessor's report? If not, do so and check it thoroughly to identify any errors, omissions or inaccuracies and use them to challenge it. Don't rely just on the DWP decision letter that quotes from the report, as you may find lots of other errors. If you can, get up-to-date medical evidence from Doctors and Hospitals. You are entitled to request a copy of all of your medical records from your GP and any hospital where you have been treated.

The Benefits and Work Guides on appealing and challenging an Assessor's report are excellent and worth every penny - I won my appeal by following their advice.

Thank you I will definitely ask for a copy of the report and see what it says I know they never spoke to my doctor or my specialist even though they told me they had so I think I should have a good case x

You can provide additional evidence at Mandatory Reconsideration and Appeal stages so if you left anything out, you can include it. I have just found an excellent free guide to PIP that you can view here
