That's the thing with fibromyalgia, there seems to be no rhyme or reason with it, and as you've said it can be one thing one minute and something completely different the next. I hope the pain has eased of now. x

I hope the pain is easing, I get these ankle pains and get looked at like I'm a loon job, it actually feels like I've sprained it! If this is the pain you've been feeling then I'm so sorry and I hope it gets better. I've been searching for some CBD balm but unsure if they do it in the UK x

They do iv tried it but omits say didn’t do a lot , I use a gel from the doctor called Fenbid forty 5% it’s the only cream I’ve tried that works for me

Just curious to know if you take statins? I have fibromyalgia, but about 2 -3 years ago , before this diagnosis, when trying to get to the problem of why my legs( including hips to ankles) had dagger-like pains in them I stopped taking my statins (that I had been on 14 or so years). Took ubiquinol and vitamins after to help repair damage and these really disabilitating pains have apparently stopped. My medical notes now say ' statin intolerant', but still have exhaustion/ overall pains- now going down route that my known hypothyroidism is undermedicated and raising thyroxin dose. Have you ever had full bloods ( have to go privately unfortunately as NHS don't do it), research suggests a very high proportion of fibromyalgia sufferers have this but don't know?

I’m not on statins and thyroid was normal I have low vitamin d I was told if I didn’t have fibromyalgia/cfs I would be fit as my bloods were good xx it’s not right you had to pay x

I am pleased you are not on statins! I presume you are taking very high dose vit D3 then now , getting that up to a 100-150 range should help. Perhaps along with vitamin K2(mark 7) which allows vit D to go to where it is needed ( bones/teeth) and some magnesium too. I would be a bit wary of doctors saying your results were 'normal' for any blood work as ranges can be huge, and what is acceptable to them as just in a range might not suit you when you need to be at the high end of a range to feel ok! Try googling 'Vitamin D Council' for help, or/and check out healthunlocked sister Thyroid Uk forum that has a lot of detail re ideal blood readings etc.
