Feeling Awful

Hi all, I have had some sort of bug, don't think it's been a cold. I feel so congested in my nose and my eyes feel so heavy. I feel I am not with it at all, not on this planet. Aching all over and just feel totally drained. Seeing my rheumatologist tomorrow and feel dreadful. So tired. All I want to do is close my eyes. So fed up. Glad I have nothing on over the weekend.

It's typically taking 3-4 weeks to get over it 😕

I had a couple of viruses which took 6 weeks at a time to get over them which is why I suppose, rheumatologist thought it was lupus. Obviously what I have now must be a virus. Eyes feel so heavy. Xx

Bless you Hun, I’m so sorry that you’re suffering so much. Try and get plenty of rest, have plenty of fluids and honey and lemon. You could also try some steam inhalation too with possibly some vicks.

Thanks. I have been using a Vicks inhaler. Be so glad to see rheumatologist tomorrow. Do you have any hobbies to keep you occupied. Xx

I’ve been doing a lot of knitting recently. I have to keep starting and stopping though as it aggravates my fibro. Have you got any hobbies? Xx

yes, I play short mat bowls and struggle afterwards for a week. can't give it up as have nothing else. been playing for 27 years. I had other hobbies which I struggle to do so don't bother. get so depressed I can't even go on a decent walk anymore without pain. xxx
