Good evening kayandmatthew and welcome to the group. May i suggest you may like to lock your post to keep it private from the world wide web. this link will show you how.

I have had fibro for 30+years and still don't know how i feel about it to be honest. There is loads of posts i'm sure you would find helpful. Maybe you could take your time and read through some of our lovely members experiences and how they cope.

Everyone is different and not all of us suffer with the same symptoms. Some suffer worse than others While some members can still hold down full time employment, others can only work part time. Some find the medication available for fibro helpful other don't?

But has you say you have not got a definite diagnoses of fibro and i hope you don't get one. So If it was me I would wait until I had a definite diagnoses before burdening myself with such worry and stress over something I may not have :)

You may like to take a peek at our mother site it has a wealth of information you may find useful fmauk.org Please feel welcomed xx

Welcome to the FMAUK Community kayandmatthew ! :)

I am sure there are many member who can talk with you about the diagnosis process as we all can remember the journey. I personally took 2 years to get a diagnosis and on occasion I doubted myself as tests kept coming back clear of everything. I couldn't understand how I felt so awful but they couldn't find anything, however it is real. My best advice is don't doubt yourself and continue to be assertive to get the a diagnosis.

What stage are you at, at the moment? :)

Emma :)
