bad few days so far shoulder pain that hurts to change gear and tablets don't touch the pain,, very tired, and restless legs, not sleeping well and I think I have over done it ;-(

Hi Foxy76 I noticed you have only just posted although you joined a while ago, so firstly I would like to welcome to our wonderful forum ☺I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you & talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro & learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we are.

I think this time of year when it's cold and damp a lot of us are feeling like this my friend as there seem to be a lot of members with shoulder/neck/arm pain, I myself being one of them

What medication do you take ? Have you had tests recently or do you have any physio. ?

I had to change to an automatic 5 yrs ago now because I couldn't change gear without excruciating pain in my hand, also my back & hip was very bad if I had to sit in traffic or on hill, so i just gave in lol, I love it now though & glad I changed.

I am sorry to hear you are suffering like this. So many of us are struggling in different ways and the cold weather has not helped.

What is it that makes you think you have overdone it?

Have you heard about the "Spoon Theory" ? This is a form of explaining how to pace yourself and is worth considering. Try Google if this is new to you.
