Sending you a smiley wave today

Hi everyone, I'm a little anxious today as on waking I notice that my whole body seems to be in a tremble and a bit of a rapid heart beat, once I've moved it seems subside but can kick off again if I've been sat for awhile, does anyone else have something like this? I'm relatively new to having fibro diagnosed and it's obviously a lot more than muscle aches & pains as my GP described it. Everyday I'm noticing something else to contend with, it's a bit like Forrest Gump, life's like a box of chocolates, you just never know what you're gonna get! Only I can't eat the chocolates.

Have a good day everyone

Hi there

I'm afraid I do get this a lot. I also get shaky arms and hands if I've over done it.

I love swimming and used to go a couple of times a week, but the physical shaking got so bad and hurt too, I had to stop going. 😔

The internal shaking etc happens every day and some days it goes, it's not as bad as the physical shaking for me. Edited By Admin

I hope this helps, but maybe you should see your dr about it.

Good luck and best wishes.🌸

Oh dear. How on earth did you damage your nerves? That must have been painful 🐸

in reply to Sorebones

I really don't know, so many things happen in your life and you just get on with it. Probably did something had a moan and just got on with things. My arms have been hurting for many, many years, just got on with things. Now I'm older I pay more attention, we live and learn. 😊

Is that what it is then? damaged nerves? I don't know if I've done anything. Your reply has worried me but thanks for reply anyway.

No. Fibro isn't damaged nerves. So please don't worry.

No one is sure exactly what causes Fibro. There are several trains of thought but the most common seems to be that the nerves 'misfire' sending incorrect pain signals to the brain. The experts are working on it as once the cause is found they can find something to help us.

The best thing you can do is find out as much as you can about Fibro. There are many websites one of which is the mother site of this forum FMUK. I'm sure someone can send you a link as my technical skills leave a lot to be desired. Most of us read up as much as we can.

I hope that has given you some information so that you don't worry. Stress can make the symptoms worse lol. 🐸

Thanks for your reply. Yes, research & even more research, thank goodness for the internet. I'm relieved to say my symptoms aren't caused by damage nerves as you suggested and is relatively common with fibro. It makes sense to think twice about how we post messages to "newbies" or we could be guilty of raising unnecessary stress levels!

Sometimes it helps to know that others have something similar, so appreciate your reply. I'm doing quite a bit of research about this and it seems to be just part & parcel of the whole syndrome and not necessarily anything to worry about as all tests I've had reveal nothing that can be detected. Gosh, it's so complicated! Enjoy your day

Hi

I agree it can be helpful to know how others got on and it is very necessary to do research. Ultimately though it's a bit of trail an error.

Good luck and best wishes. 🌺
