Pip update...

Hi all hope you are ok. Not been on for couple of weeks and feeling bit rubbish. You may recall my saga with ESA which reared its ugly head again last week after I thought it was sorted. Payment didn't go into my account so after more phonecalls (at premium rate!) I was told oh sorry it was a hiccup with the computer. Its sorted now! Forgive me if I don't believe it.

Had the dreaded brown envelope. Got standard rate for Daily living and 0 for mobility lol! God know how they interpret what you say. Apparently I can walk without any problems and can plan and follow a route anywhere! I've asked for a mandatory reconsideration, so watch this space. To expect a phone call anytime in next 8-9 weeks lol!

Managed somehow to tear my retina two weeks ago and had to have emergency laser treatment, but healing ok now although still have floaters and eye sight bit blurry. Don't know how I did it, consultant said prob spontaneous! I'm falling apart.

Hugs

Life always kicks a girl when she is down. Hope the eyesight problems improve and that you win with the mandatory reconsideration. Do let us know how you get on.x

Just when you don't need anymore problems ... ! I hope the floaters and blurriness clear up quickly ... I had some spontaneous "icicle-looking floaters" appear out of nowhere in one eye (best way I could describe them!) ... My eye doctor examined me, but could find no cause/or difficulties, so we hoped they would disappear on their own in a short period of time ~ and they did!

Our bodies can amazingly heal themselves sometimes, and I hope this is the case for you, and that it is soon! It was very unnerving for me to have that "issue" ... I'm easily distracted anyway ~ maybe it's the Fibro Fog!?! Good luck, and hugs, bk
