Hi, I did write a big post its not here? Ive been battling with my doctors for 2years after a 2year abusive relationship and PTSD ive been going back and forth with multiple complaints im a single parent and don't feel like I'm being helped or taken seriously. Everyday I'm in severe pain, neck, back, knees everywhere. I sometimes cant walk the stairs. They old me they think fibromyalgia, over a month ago but still left me with no pain relief or further help. What shall I do I feel alone and each day I wonder how I cope.... Ive read fibromyalgia on NHS direct and its identical to how I feel. Thanx for welcoming me x

Hi again

I have just been giving some some thought to what you could do? And I was wondering if you have tried all of the doctors at your surgery? As there may be one who is a little more sympathetic of your situation? Or are there any other GP surgeries nearby to where you live?

I was also wondering if you had been given any referrals to a Rheumatologist or Pain Management Clinic? These could be well worth discussing on your next GP appointment? I would also discuss the possibility of being sent to Physiotherapy, as they can show you exercises whereby you are laying down or sitting down that could really help? I find physio very useful.

If your pain gets intolerable, there are ''NHS Walk-In Centre's''. Is there one nearby to you? If so, I would definitely make use of this and ask for some kind of pain relief. If you rang the 111 service when you are experiencing intolerable pain, and explain your situation, they can make you an appointment to see a doctor at a ''NHS Walk-In Centre'', so please keep this in mind.

I want to wish you all the best of luck with finding the answers that you so desperately desire and deserve.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Hi, yes ive changerd and on my 3rd doctor at the same surgery. Ive had countless tests, scans etc I'm finally getting somewhere as I have an appointment for a bone scan next week. Ive asked about physio before yet never received it. Ive asked for pain relief several times never had.... I'm open and honest and resorted to smoking cannabis to kill my pain and the doctor told me "to keep self medicating" I just want an answer I feel lost, ive rang 111 when my back was really bad, turned out I had a chronic kidney infection that time. I'm too tired too keep going back and forth I have to walk everywhere and its too hard I'm exhausted walking to my shop. I now have citizens advice with me to help things move forward. Thanx for being so nice no1 understands it x

That is good news about your bone scan. I have a DEXA Scan every year due to Osteoporosis. It must be really difficult for you at the moment? But I will keep my fingers crossed that you can finally get some kind of diagnosis and suitable medication. Citizens advice are very good at helping.

I was wondering if you have ever heard of the Patient Advice Liaison Service? They can help with GP mediation and ascertaining medications from GP's, they may be worth a try? I have pasted you a link to their website below:

I want to wish you all the best of lcuk and please feel free to ask any question or seek advice on anything that you need to know?
