Omg I thought I went for my pip a couple of weeks ago just has a phone call to say my decision has been made and someone will call Monday then received a letter saying I have a pip visit on 13 th august well confused why would I have two hugs to all fibro suffers out there

Morning Dod79I can understand how confused you must be. Sorry but never heard of a phone call being made on a sunday and why not tell you the decision and why you have to have another visit i would ring them back and ask them today .Dont wait. gental hugs xx

I too am quite perplexed by this? I would ring them and ask what it is all about to ease your won anxiety over this issue? I also want to wish you all the best of luck with your PIP decision.

I feel so sorry for you and everyone in your situation regarding PIP. I don't mean that to sound smug because I went through the wringer for about 18+ months before I was successful. I did remind them of my existence a few times and eventually got called for a medical examination which was a bit of a farce. About 8 months after that I got a letter apologising for the delay, but they were having to gather more information about my case! I had enclosed 11 letters regarding hospital appointments etc and a copy of my repeat prescriptions - all 4 sheets! I don't know what else there was to get. If you actually get to speak to anyone, don't forget to answer any questions as if you are on your very worst day. I got declined on my first application but am proof that it is worth persevering. You're not applying for anything to which you are not entitled - never forget that!!
