Hi Dillm,

Only your doctor could tell you for sure, but it sounds as though you had a severe brain injury, which will inevitably leave small areas of scarring on the brain tissue.

Brain damage can be very subtle, and cause symptoms which only the person themselves will be aware of. The symptoms you describe are consistent with mild brain scarring, but you seem to be coping well.

It might be best if you tell your doctor about your concerns as they can arrange for any necessary tests to be done.

You must have been pretty bad! Looks as though you're mostly OK now, but I still think you should tell your GP if you're at all worried!
