I’m day 6 post IUI, I’ve been taking cyclogest twice a day since. I have really bad bloating, enlarged boobs, back ache. I’m worried these are all the symptoms of cyclogest and praying they are not. Praying for a positive test on 10th May. I’m going to do an early one on Sunday 5th.
has anyone else experienced this? And ended up being pregnant?

yes unfortunately it’s really hard to tell as they’re all side effects of the cyclogest but also can be signs of pregnancy so you never fully know. My OTD is also the 10th from a fet and I have the same symptoms but currently putting them down to the cyclogest. Fingers crossed for you
I had those symptoms with both failed transfers and my successful one. Unfortunately progesterone is so cruel and mimics pregnancy symptoms 🙄
I’ve had a failed transfer where I was convinced it had worked due to the symptoms, and also my successful transfer where I was convinced it hadn’t due to period symptoms and a bleed.
I say stay positive. I’m a believer in the power of positive thinking. Sounds a little mad maybe. But if you put out negative vibes that’s what you’ll attract. So try and be positive, daydream about that positive outcome.
Hi SunshineLucy. Sorry you feel so uncomfortable. It could be the medication, so stick it our until test dat. If you had a fresh transfer, your ovaries might still be a bit active, and will calm down. If you need any pain killers, just paracetamol. No anti inflammatories, such as ibuprofen. Hopefully all will soon settle down. Diane
