I had 5 embryos as part of my first cycle, transferred 1 fresh and 2 single transfers and the last one a double transfer. All failed. My doctor has me on manufactured cycle for the last 3 and on steroid,antibiotics and low dose aspirin and did hcg fusion on the last 2. I am going to do another cycle and get genetic testing on the embryos.
Because all 5 failed are my chances of success now very low? Has anyone had this happen to them and then go on to have success?
Any other suggestions?

May I ask what your embryo grades were?
I’m on my 5th embryo currently, failed 4bb, 2x3bb and 2bb. My current one is a 5bb from my second round.
My stims protocol changed for my second round and I managed to get better grades and more embryos to freeze this time but nothing changed regarding meds for transfer.
I’ve been reading a lot of people take probiotics prior to transfer has your doc mentioned this to you?
3 of my embryos were good quality 2 were 4AB and one was 4BB. Then the last one was low quality but I can’t remember the grade but 5something.
My doctor said she is going to do the same protocol for my second egg collection because she was happy with my results. Which is sort of good to hear but equally nothing is changing so why should I expect different results?
My doctor didn’t mention probiotics but I have actually been taking them daily anyway as I have been having thrush quite a bit over the last year. My doctor told me the thursh shouldn’t impact anything

It’s so difficult isn’t it, is this one fails I’ll also be asking the same questions as I’m worried something is going on internally and I’m rejecting the embryos?
I’d definitely be asking about other tests as it sounds like you have plenty of eggs and good quality!
Yes my doctor said it is unusual. She did do blood tests for various reasons for implantation failure and I did have slightly high ANA (autoimmune indicator) but she said that is a pretty common finding but that’s why she put me on the steroid/antibiotics/asprin.
She did say sometimes it’s just bad luck and is a bit of a numbers game so I am trying to stay positive but it’s very hard and I am really dreading having to do the egg collection process again and with the delays from the genetic testing it now won’t be until end of July before I can do a transfer again. Scary to think I might go through another round and 6 months and have no success.

Sorry to hear you’ve not yet had the success , and I’m rooting for you in your next round. Thank you I just watched that, helpful. I have had the blood clot tests which were normal but my doctor put me on asprin anyway. That video made me think probably all this extra medication I am taking isn’t doing anything…

I have a family member who in her first round got 5 embryos which all failed to implant and one miscarried for genetic reasons. They did a second round got 6 embryos and have so far implanted three from that round and all 3 are now healthy children. She always says she thinks she just got a "bad batch" first time round. The second batch she had a 100% success rate!
I honestly think anything is possible in this fertility game!

Me!!! 5 failed and 1 chemical. 7th transfer worked and I’m now 8 weeks with what I am convinced is a 6 day BB (double transfer of 5 day AB and 6 day BB.) Was told no issues it’s just a numbers game. Don’t give up!! 👶🏼 ✨
