FET tips!

Hi all, I have just got home after my consultant appointment and we’re able to start preparing for a frozen transfer, eek! I wasn’t expecting it to happen this quickly but I feel ready to move to this step. Please share your medicated FET tips 😊

Hi Catmumtogoose5,We had a frozen transfer and our Little girl is now 12weeks old. I had an endometrial scratch before our FET (evidence around the success of this is a bit patchy but we decided we wanted to try things a bit differently after our first attempt failed). We added in extra progesterone so I was on cyclogest pessaries and lubion injections (again so it was different from our first). Other than that I just continued taking my vitamins and folic acid and lots of walks with the dog.....we did 12miles 2 days before transfer!! After transfer I just continued with meds etc but toned the walks down so they weren't as strenuous or as long!!

Hi! Very best of luck with your FET! Before the FET which gave us our daughter, I switched to mediterranean diet - lots of fish, veggies, yoghurt with honey and nuts etc. I also took oral and vaginal probiotics (Biogaia and Canesfloor), drank pomegranate juice to help with the lining and had a few sessions of reflexology to help me relax.
