hi to everyone. I’m 6+3 weeks pregnant from a frozen embryo transfer, had my first scan one week ago, we could see gestational sac and yolk sac, I had bad nausea the whole week, today it seems slowly going better but I fill some lower abdominal pain (not much and not going stronger…) is this normal? I will have my next ultrasound only in one week…

Hi anitaivf. Congratulations on your BFP!

I think it’s normal to experience some discomfort in the lower abdominal as your uterus begins to stretch to accommodate the little growing one.

As long as it’s not severe pain that comes with other symptoms such as bleeding, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Nevertheless, perhaps worth mentioning it to your consultant for extra peace of mind next time?

Good luck with your journey! x
