I had my second round of IVF recently which resulted in one 4BB embryo being frozen. FET cycle starting first week of May.
I've spoken to my clinic about DHEA as I've been getting low numbers of eggs & she recommended 25mg x 3 a day.
I know it takes 2-3 months to have a benefit - I asked my doctor should I start it now so I can some benefit in my system should I need to do another fresh round. She said it's up to me but I would need to stop it before my embryo transfer.
Part of me thinks it's best to hold off and see what the result of my FET is. If I stop DHEA for two weeks it's going to be out of my system anyhow.
The doctor has left it up to me to decide. Has anyone got a view?
(Also feel like I'm already giving up on my FET if I start preparing for it 'not' working)

Hello , I took DHEA and in the end found that it didn’t make a difference. I became pregnant from the FET when I wasn’t taking any supplements just the pregnacare. Not medical opinion of course , just my experience . But don’t agonise too much on the DHEA , it wasn’t the game changer for me.
