Our 20 week scan brought the terrible news that our baby has died. We are heartbroken.
Our baby had Down Syndrome. It comes with an increased risk of miscarriage/stillbirth, but our fetal heart scan hadn't picked up anything serious and we were really hopeful it was going to be ok.
I am going to have a mini labour induced on Sunday.
I have no idea when we will feel ready to try again. We have one embryo frozen from our first NHS go, I suppose we will potentially do an FET before a fresh cycle. Unless they suggest doing a fresh cycle and picking from the embryos.

I am so utterly sorry to read this. I hope your loved ones hold you close during the toughest of the storm you are weathering. I had a loss at 21 weeks a year and a half ago. The pain will never go away but it will ease as time passes. I am always here if you need someone to talk to. I will keep you and your family in my heart.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Did they do genetic testing for the embryo before they transferred? I am also currently pregnant by FET we had the genetic testing done prior.

We are allowed 2 fresh cycles and up to 2 frozen. But I believe it's basically you have to do it in the order Fresh - Frozen - Fresh - Frozen. Thankfully we have an embryo left over from our first round so we do get a frozen go. x

I'm so sorry for your loss of your beautiful little one. I also experienced a late loss and went through an induced L&D, I know your pain, it's devastating.
