Hi all, I'm just prepping for my 8th transfer after lots of failures and losses. I have had an intralipid infusion today, transfer on Saturday. I have been prescribed steroids (prednisolone) but only 10mg and not for long.
For those who were successful, what was your dosage and for how many weeks please?
I haven't had NK testing but I usually gets hives at around 5weeks, which to me indicates my body rejecting the embryo, although can't get any answers on this from any medical professionals.
Also the recurrent miscarriage consultant in the NHS suggested not to use aspirin this time. This is making me a bit nervous- anyone else heard of this? I've always taken it for previous rounds.
Any advice welcomed, thanks in advance!

This is the first time I’ve been on steroids but I’m on 25mg currently, which started 5 days before transfer and if successful would continue until around week 12/14 I believe. I’m also on other immune suppressants, as well as fragmin, aspirin and intralipids, but I have very high NKCs and anti nuclear anti-bodies, having done immune testing. Best of luck to you for this round! 💜
12mg methylprednislone & clexane. Intralipid a week prior to transfer, when I got my BFP & 4 weeks later. Methylpredisolone dropped to 8mg at around 8 weeks & then stopped at 12 weeks by weaning.
I’m on 10mg too, have been since day after trigger. I’m currently 6 weeks 1 day. I have been on Clexane for the same period and started Asprin when I got my positive test.
