Implantation clinic coventry/ Warwick and potential treatments (stigliptin)

Hi everyone I have had multiple ivf failures likely moving to donor now but the implantation clinic at Coventry has been mentioned to me for tests. However, I have already been to the implantation clinic under my own fertility clinic (which my doctor of course knows but still mentioned coventry in case of any new evidence - Think he is just clutching at staws to be hones) and I have already had the ERA the killer cells test and progesterone levels checked.I was just wondering if they do any further tests which I Ve not already had? As at moment I don't think they would be able to offer me any further treatment options so it would be a waste of time and money.

I believe they offer people steroids. Clexane and extra progesterone, all of which I have tried.

I think the only potential thing they might be able to give me is stiglipin? What is this for? What test determines its usgae?

Do they ever recommend anything else?

Thanks

Hi, I’m currently on sitagliptin following investigations with the implantation clinic in Coventry due to recurrent implantation failures. As well as the other tests, they perform a deft test (digital endometrial function test), which looks at how prepared the endometrium is for implantation and transition into ongoing pregnancy tissue. My results were more consistent with recurrent miscarriages rather than implantation failures but the treatment is the same - sitagliptin for 3 months prior to embryo transfer. I’ll find out soon whether it’s worked but figured it was worth a try!🤞🏼🙏🏼

Okay thanks so the test digital endometrium function you mentioned there's nothing they can do about that as such? other than try the stigliptin? From what iVe written about above the only extra thing they could offer me is stiglipin then do you think? do you know what other things were offered to you or what would have been had your test shown up certain things? Thanks

They also test the lining to determine the optimum timing for embryo transfer (so that this can changed for future transfers if needed) and also NK cells like you said. I’m not aware of the entire treatments they offer as it was only the sitagliptin that was indicated in my case but if it works it will be 10000% worth it 🤞🏼🤞🏼 here’s more info on the tests which explains it better than me! warwick.ac.uk/fac/sci/med/r...
