waiting for my cycle to start for FET… but have come down with a chest infection and now on antibiotics and steroids for 5 or so days…
Will the effect is starting or will we need to delay? I feel like rubbish and have a fever which I’m managing with paracetamol and water but what concerned it will delay us going ahead?…
Sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly, your doctors are probably best placed to advise on this. If it was me I would wait to feel better because your body will be focusing on getting you better rather than be solely focused on getting you pregnant. If you also go ahead and it does not work, will you be annoyed with yourself and think I should have just waited…

Have spoken to them and they suggested that it shouldn’t be a problem to proceed with this cycle as long as I’m feeling ok, they said that the hormones will make me feel abit poo, as soon as my cycle starts day 1 to speak to them and chat if I feel healthy enough to proceed or delay but ultimately it’s up to me… 1 day at a time then until it’s cycle time I guess… 🤣

Sorry to hear that herewego89 so frustrating! Just wanted to say I know how you feel, I started a protocol for FET in January and then after a week they found a polyp, had to get that sorted on NHS, in the meantime my clinic had it's licence suspended by the HFEA, so the last few months have been spent moving clinic which was a logistical nightmare as paperwork had gone missing etc.Finally started process again at new clinic last week but I shouldn't have, as a couple of weeks before, I developed unexplained dizziness, I just thought it was stress and would go away, in the end I cancelled again last Friday. Hoping I get over whatever is wrong with me to try again in a couple of months. Hope you feel better soon x
