Short antagonist FET protocol - when to add progesterone

Hello,

I am going to do a frozen embryo transfer soon after I've completed implantation testing. I have had a successful FET previously in which I started oestrogen on day 1 of my period and had a scan on day 12 (lining was good at 7.5ish and trilaminar). After that I started progesterone on day 17, for 6 days before the transfer (on day 22).

I'm trying to plan out the timings for my next FET and was wondering if it's usual to start progesterone on day 17 and take it for 6 days when following the short antagonist protocol??

I'll ask my clinic but they are reluctant to respond unless I'm in active treatment.

I know that when the progesterone starts depends on the lining, but I think mine looked ok on day 12 last time but I didn't start progesterone until day 17 🤔 Is that usual??

Every cycle of treatment can be - and frequently is- entirely different from the one before The clinic will be observing the lining of the womb and start the progesterone at the time that is right for you
