Monthly cycle returning

Very recently had a failed FET, haven’t had a bleed yet. Stopped meds two days ago, how soon does your first proper period arrive ? And do you start ovulating properly again quite soon. My cycle is like clock work every 28/29 days with out fail normally.

Everyone is different -it can take a month or so before your cycle returns to whatever is normal for you This is common while on fertility treatment

hi, I started to bleed 2-4 days after stopping meds after failed FETs, so you are probably close. The cycle after was slightly longer, 30d rather than 28d but then everything went back to normal 🤞🤞

Thank you for your reply! So you class the first day of your withdrawal bleed as day 1 of your new monthly cycle?

yes that’s what I did, not sure if it’s strictly correct but I use a cycle tracker app and it seemed to fit with my ‘predicted’ cycle fairly closely. I haven’t been testing for ovulation so not sure that those cycles have normal ovulation but they were a pretty normal length x

Thank you, yes I always track everything. But for a little while I’m not going to track ovulation, it’s all just too much! I need a break from it all to enjoy life again x
