I’m here for some advice/help on when to do my next fresh cycle. Bit of background I have a little boy from our first fresh round.
We had a failed thaw of both our frozen embryos in July. We are looking at a new fresh round. I’m torn as I have severe endometriosis and I feel the symptoms creeping in. Trying to decide if we go for it before Christmas basically or wait until the new year. Practically waiting would make sense as work is so stressful in the lead up to Christmas. Also it gives another month of clean living and supplements whereas if we do it in November, probably only 2 months of supplements.
However, I’m very anxious about my endo and waiting any longer. I’m also 35 and my consultant said to get on with it in July.
Will a couple of months make a huge difference? Or will supplements make a huge difference? Should we just get on with it before Christmas?
thanks in advance for any advice
Xx

hi lovely I’m in the same boat (except for the endo) I’ve just agreed on a treatment plan with consultant for next fresh cycle, we were originally going to go for PGA testing which there wasn’t a slot for until next year so I wasnt in ‘gear’ to start going this year again but we’ve decided against the testing so and I’ve to phone with next period to get started (which is due this week) and I’m trying to decide if we go for it now or after Christmas. I’ve started vitamins etc last week so would only give them a month and I’ve also got practically every waking minute planned from now until Christmas with stuff BUT I’m very aware of the biological clock ticking (I’m 40) so I think if they can squeeze me in before Christmas we are going to go for it and just make it work and hope for the best xx
Hi Doglover. Speak to your clinic about any treatment options to calm your endo down a bit before a new treatment cycle. Also check which vitamins would be best for you. You may decide just to go ahead, so just wanted to wish you every good luck with whichever way you go. Diane
