progesterone and Estrogen

when do you normally stop taking progesterone and estrogen after positive test? I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant and desperate to stop medication as it makes me bloated all day, sick and other side effects

I stopped after the 12th week. I also had a similar post as my clinic did not give me a taper down protocol. I was on 3 estrogen tablets and 2 progesterone pessaries. So after my post and lots of advice here I did the first 3 days 2 estrogen and 1 progesterone. The. 3 days with 1 estrogen 1 progestrone and then stopped.

Hi OA. Depending upon your clinic, but some carry on until 12/40wks of pregnancy. You will be allocated a midwife soon, so speak to her. We have a Pregnancy after treatment Forum, so perhaps you could move ove there now? Diane
