I stupidly tested early and had a super strong BFP this morning but just went to toilet and have light brown when I wipe. AF isn't due till Wednesday. I've got such a strong positive it surely can't be implantation bleeding as its too late?
I had a chemical in March at 5.5 weeks and this is how it started. Could this be happening again or is there hope?
I feel completely broken 💔

It’s hard not to panic after a loss but I reckon the spotting is almost definitely implantation bleeding - you can get it later than this. That line is super dark for 7 days past transfer, I’d say this is looking very promising! Xx
Also just to add I had brown spotting and bleeding for weeks and weeks with my son and they were never even concerned enough to scan me. He was all good xx
I know its a great BFP for 7 days... I was on cloud 9 this morning. This journey is so fricking hard. When I wipe its barely visible but definitely there, light brown watery discharge. When I had my last loss I had sharp pains followed by quite a bit of watery blood all at once. Guess I just have to wait 😔 xx
Aww love I get it. Pregnancy after loss is HARD. I know it’s a cliche but try to take one day at a time. This is a different pregnancy to your last one and has every chance of a different outcome. Sending you big hugs and positivity xx

Yes it did and I do understand your anxiety....I sadly had 2 losses before our successful cycle....we have twins now! Wishing you all the best, just focus on getting through each day....one day at a time and lots of deep breaths!!xxx
Omg congratulations! But also sorry for your losses. IVF women are honestly the strongest there is! I've never been tested by anything this hard in my life ! Xx

That's such a strong positive! I also had spotting around that time - super light watery brown like you're describing. And all is well so far - I'm 24 weeks tomorrow. So there is plenty of reason to hope ♥️
Just take one day at a time. I know it's super hard and stressful. I am still on edge sometimes, even at this stage, but it does get easier xx
Thank you Hoop. That's super comforting to know. So pleased you've made it to 24 weeks!! Can't imagine how stressful it's been...! Mine is very watery brown, almost barely discolouring the tissue. I had a chemical last time at 5.5 weeks but my positives were nowhere near as dark as this time so was so hopeful! Can I ask, how long did you spot for? My OTD isn't till next Monday, feels like a miracle if we get there!!!! Xx
Thanks Sara, that's very kind. And you should stay hopeful! As hard as that is sometimes, we do need some positive feelings in all of this. I know you'll be wanting to protect your emotions a bit though. Next Monday does feel like an age away 😓😬 but it'll be here before you know it!
My initial brown watery spotting was maybe 2-3 days max (and that's with tapering off at the end).
Just to warn you, I did also have some further red / light pink bleeding just before my viability scan and that turned out to be two small hematomas and further implantation in a way. There are lots of stories of these on here so it's another "super stressful but 🤞 everything will be okay" moments in an IVF journey! Hopefully you don't get this and the implantation spotting is it 🥰
Take it easy and make sure you're treating yourself because you deserve it xx

I had spotting until 12 weeks x
Did it start in the 2WW? With my chemical it started after 5 weeks and I had quite a bit of pain first. This feels different and way earlier but still freaking out! X

I’m sorry you feel like this and are worried I would too. I think it’s a strong bfp but maybe ring your clinic see if you can have extra progesterone maybe? Or some bloods done? Hcg bloods test maybe? Keeping everything crossed for you. I hope it’s good news. ❤️
I’m already one cyclogest pessaries and lubion injections so they can’t give me anymore. I did ring the clinic though this morning and they’re going to do a blood test tomorrow. I’m on my NHS funded round so I’ll have to pay for it but it’s worth it for peace of mind. Everything crossed for a high beta !!!
Perfect I’m glad you are having the hcg done as it’s more telling. I know the waiting’s not great but let’s try to be hopeful this could just be it

I hope so! I know some women do this for years and go through many many cycles but I honestly don't think I could do it again. After one loss in March and a traumatic transfer in May resulting in a BFN, I'm really holding onto this cycle. We have one more frozen embryo left but its a day 6 5BB so not as good quality as the others.

I had a good amount of spotting on days 8-11 after FET, ranging in color from brown to pink to full on red. But like you I also had a very strong BFP throughout. I was so worried but it went away and looking back I can only attribute it to implantation bleeding? I thought it was too late for that, but I’m currently almost 11wks and so far no more spotting. So it can happen!! Try not to stress

I honestly thought the battle was getting pregnant and now I see it’s staying pregnant too! My spotting seems to have tapered off today so hoping it could have been some old implantation blood leaving but time will tell xx
I had brown spotting with both my pregnancies, a wee bit later on than you are but carried both boys full term. My clinic were completely unconcerned because it was brown blood which is old blood. Said they would only be concerned if it was red blood. I have had a couple of early miscarriages/chemical pregnancies and they both started with a more red coloured discharge/spotting. My lines on tests were always lighter before a loss too. It is such a difficult process and impossible not to worry but it looks and sounds promising. Try not to worry too much, right now you are pregnant and there is every chance it will continue xxx

I had quite a bit of bleeding in the first 9 weeks.. it carried on after implantation bleeding. It could be a few things. I even passed a big clot. Congratulations on your pregnancy and I really hope all continues well for you ❤️💫
UPDATE: OK so might have gone a little bit test crazy. I did a test this morning and freaked out as looked like a thinner line than last nights. Did another this afternoon and it's the darkest yet. Looking at them now there really isn't much in it. I called the clinic and they're doing a beta blood test tomorrow and then Friday so fingers crossed for good results. Spotting has been barely there today, just when I wipe and very very light brown/barely there. Just hoping it was a bit of implantation bleeding or breakthrough bleeding as my period would be due around now.

It's looking great! Remember the pregnancy tests always dry a bit darker. The beat way is to test every second day so you can actually see a proper difference! Oh and I know a few ladies that had darker tests PM than AM. Good luck for beta!xxx
Just had my beta blood test results back at its 301 at 9dp5dt. The nurse said that's really good and said I don't really need a 2nd test but I've asked for one anyway on Friday to make sure it increases. Also had a 'dye stealer' on a FRER today and spotting has stopped. Thank you all so much for your comforting messages. The last few days have been so up and down - long way to go but feel calmer now that we've got a good start this time!!! xx
I had red spotting exact same time & then went brown the dr said it would have been implantation. Xx
2nd beta came back at 816 on 11dp5dt! Nurse said it's a really good number and has booked me in for my 7 week scan, 3 weeks from today. Can't believe this is happening and still waiting for something to go wrong but so so so incredibly happy and grateful. Thanks for your support, wish me luck for an uneventful next 3 weeks!!! xx
