Dhea candidate???

Hi can someone tell me if I am a good candidate for taking DHEA? My level is 4 pmol I am 41 years old.

Also have low amh high fsh and irregular cycle.

DHEA is usually best for people with low ovarian reserve. It sounds like it may be a good fit for you but I would always check with your fertility doctor as there are always exceptions.

If you decide to take it without clarity from a doctor the best advice i can give is to self monitor your DHEA levels AND your testosterone levels. DHEA supplements will increase both DHEA and Testosterone. For me, my DHEA increased well but my Testosterone was completely out of range (too high) after only a few weeks of taking. You'll also need to be aware of side effects - I didn't experience any myself but many people do xx
