First ever FET..advice please 😊

Hi all, I know there will be plenty of helpful people on here who can advise me.

I have had three fresh transfers but will soon be having my first ever FET so not really clued up on the process.

I’m due my period this weekend and have been advised to call the clinic when it comes, I’ve picked up my prescription to start and been advised a scan will be booked around 10 days after this. I’m just curious of the next steps and timescales? I know this may vary person to person but just a rough idea.

Also I’m booked to have a night away with my friend this Friday, do you think it’s safe to have a couple drinks🥂?

I’m happy to have zero if this is better but just wondered if I’m being strict and would be fine to have a couple.

Hi I've only done one FET but my understanding is they will scan you to see how your lining is developing. If it looks good you would be able to start your progesterone, if it needs to thicken more they may increase your Oestrogen dose (e.g progynova) and then scan you again a few days later.

I put a post on here yesterday around nutrition (including alcohol) as I struggle with this myself.

Thanks for your reply! Had a good look at your post on nutrition too which was really handy to get an insight on what others think. It’s a hard one isn’t it cos we have to go through so much you don’t want to restrict everything else in you life but then don’t want to feel like you’ve not gave it your all, the joys 😅 xxx
