Hi lovely, my dr also said to say on aspirin as it can help reduce the possibility of pre-eclampsia. But it’s also just good to help with blood flow to the placenta.Xx
Hi. I wasn’t prescribed aspirin during IVF but to reassure you, I’m 23 weeks and my consultant has prescribed a low dose of aspirin from 12 weeks for the duration of my pregnancy. It can be useful if you have a couple of risk factors for pre eclampsia (I was getting migraines and am 39). I think the research shows it’s often more helpful than not. xx
I agree with the ladies, it helps to prevent preeclampsia, this is what the midwife and consultant told me also. I am 35 weeks pregnant and still taking them, until the end of my pregnancy is had been advised to me. It is low dose so shouldn't scare you. Congratulations on your pregnancy 💞😍
Hi lovely, congratulations on your pregnancy! I’m 20 weeks pregnant with twins and have to continue to take clexane and aspirin until I am 34 weeks pregnant. I’d stick with your doctors advice 😊 xx
