I’m gutted, I have found a red spot of blood in amounts a bit of white discharge!
I’ve been feeling like AF is coming for a few days now, lower back aches. I tested 5dp5dt (negative result ) using a clear blue test about 5pm. I haven’t tested since as I want to have a bit of hope, however I’m now 7dp5dt and just saw a speck of red blood which I read is not good.
I am taking progesterone x3 times daily vaginally, was hoping it was due to that, but I’m not convinced.
I will hold out until Sunday to test, but it’s not looking good for me.
Had anyone experienced spot of red blood but still had a positive? X

Hi Gemstar20, you’re not out yet I blead at 10dp. It was more than a spot too. It landed in the bowl as well as my tissue. It was bright red. I thought it was over and took a shower even though it was 3am. Anyway I had spotting since. I had a BFP confirmed on 11dt with bloods. I’m now 5weeks 4 days and taking each day as it comes. Cramping still hasn’t stopped . Although spotting has. So there’s still hope. Crossing everything for you. I’m also on progesterone which can cause agitation to the cervix and add to cramping. All the best x
It really could be due to the pessaries. Try not to worry 🥰 You will, of course, as we can't help ourselves 😂! Bleeding in the TWW is so stressful but the story above seems really common, so keep that hope alive 🔥xx
I got a little bit of brown blood with the pessaries and started just using a finger to insert them. It stopped immediately. Try placing them a little lower in the vagina (up to a finger length) as they may be irritating your cervix. I have seen that advice previously from someone else's clinic on here and it definitely helped me. xx
I had a lot of red spotting enough to fill a pad and drop in toilet at 7dp5dt and I had bad cramps that kept me awake all night. Thought I was out but I tested on 9dpt and it was positive! I'm now 14 weeks pregnant so must have been implantation. It can also be irritation from the pessaries. Good luck.
Hi, don't worry a spot of red blood may be very insignificant, it could simply be some irritation from the pesseries which are really common. It also could be implantation bleed which is also common. If its any concellation i had red bleeding 18 days after transfer like a period with clots thankfully it was just a haematoma ( blood clot) and i am now 18 weeks pregnant.
The clearblue are not always that sensitive so i would use the First response for the first test and also first morning urine is the most concentrated as soon as you get out of bed. Drinking throughout the day can dilute any hcg present. Try one between now and day 10 it should be positive by now if its implanted as its super sensitive something like 6 miu all the very best xx
Aww thank you, this has given me hope. I’ve had no spotting today , I mean it was a tiny speck ajytwsy so prob was the pessaries . But I did have a wet patch and came through my trousers (sorry tmi) I called the clinic as I worried, but they said as it wasn’t smelly or yellow it’s prob just from the pessaries and not to worry 🙈
