First fresh transfer and I have had dark brown spotting for two days. It’s driving me mad! A good sign? A bad sign? I hoped for some sort of sign but now I have spotting I just want it to go away. If this round doesn’t work think I’ll just lock myself in the loft for two weeks next time as can tell my husband is getting sick of me.
OTD is Friday and I’m determined to hold out until then as I’m too scared to test anyway 😂

I had brown spotting during my first and only ivf cycle which was successful, she's 19 months now. This means it's old blood so nothing to worry about. Sometimes the pessaries can irritate the lining and cause bleeds but you can switch to using them rectally. I had spotting for about 5 weeks after my transfer, including a bit of bright red blood at one point then it stopped. You only need to call the clinic if you get very heavy bright red blood, like a period and even then some people have been fine and gone on to have healthy pregnancies. Best wishes and baby dust to you x
Thank you for your reply! Made me feel more positive! Because I generally spot before my period this freaked me out although it’s a lot darker. Fingers crossed!
Hey! I’m on my first cycle too & have just noticed my post is similar to yours. I’m 11 days post transfer & have been spotting for 3 days, unsure what to think! I hope it’s a good sign for us both, good luck on your journey x
