Would anyone recommend ARGC fertility clinic?

Would anyone recommend ARGC fertility? Their success rates are very high! Also, how much would you be spending at this clinic including PGS testing and ICSI?

I haven’t used them personally but a friend did. They are ridiculously expensive - I think she spent upwards of £20k just for 1 cycle. It’s much more of a boot camp approach - daily blood tests and scans. She Practically had to live near the clinic for the cycle

Did your friend get pregnant from that cycle with them?

She did get a BFP but ended up miscarrying despite being on every “extra” known to man - eg intralipids steroids etc.

I imagine it’s worth it if you live locally or don’t work or can take weeks of annual/unpaid leave but for me we had to fit treatment around work otherwise we couldn’t pay the bills for IVF in the first place

Oh wow yes it’s very expensive :(

We did a rough calculation and it would definetly be 15k but if there are further testings needed then definetly can get to 20k!

I really want to try this clinic. My friend had 3 fails and got pregnant straight away there. You do have to sign your life away and be there everyday! I’ve had 5 fails and I feel like this clinic is my only hope now and I wish I just went there first. But now after using all our savings on our previous ivfs I would need to win the lottery first! My friends cost around £24,00! If you have that kind of money spare I’d say go for it...

Wow Ruthie that is so much money :(

That would be a big decision to make because really everyone’s body is different BUT if they monitor everyday - and I mean literally everyday and make us do tests before transfers and also monitor us after the transfer then they are much better than where I am now. Where I am now, it’s like I am calling them every other day to ask them to monitor me lol

I am more proactive than they are with me. I feel like I am just a number! Like they don’t care 🤷‍♀️

But my husband and I have been thinking of going with ARGC - we might do a consultation and ask exactly what they offer and how they are different to other clinics - they really need to sell themselves to us before we sign off with the other clinic

Did your friend have a live birth? Their success rates are very high but live birth rates are the important ones to look for

Yes she had a live birth. A little girl who’s 6 months now! She swears she wouldn’t of managed to go full term on a pregnancy with any other clinic x

I am at ARGC but I’m doing a different treatment, not IVF at the moment. I just started though, but I was recommended by a friend. It’s more expensive than others because they do more tests. You might want to join a Fb page where there are other patients. They do lots of checks but it’s worth it. It’s a kind of ‘last chance’ clinic, usually patients had failed cycles elsewhere.

Me too it’s different this time round though as have to wear a mask .. 3 years ago we could all smile and chat but it’s harder now with the mask !

Did you have failed cycles in another clinic? By the way I don’t think we are allowed to mention clinic names in this forum, not sure!

I went for a consultation. Wasn't impressed with the doctor I saw, it was like he was reading from a script with litle interest in me and his tone was condenscending. I think he said cost wise £17k-£22k without intrallipids. Definitely £17k for 1 cycle. The receptionists I spoke to after the consultation were lovely and did answer all my additional questions I thought of straight after

I’ve been looking into this clinic as their success rates seem amazing. I really want a clinic that will monitor me every day but they seem so expensive. Does anyone know if they have a finance option? Or must the full fee be paid before treatment x
